april 26 clear sky. washed pants. doncurry spruik excellent in carpark at north breakwater. and much later as sun over estuarine wonderland flock of jabiru wheeled and shone white. oyster farms and power boats flying green red and yellow pennant clustered for evening. sunny all day and my pants dried, simple pleasure.
april 27 all day spruik, much wlaking, good result where white middle class plays. children, families holidaying, heaps of waterbirds. young girl caught a fish. voice seemingly carried against the light breeze. oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh.
april 28 forster threatened with fine by council woman. was time to go anyhow. traffic jam north of doncurry went back for an hour excellent response. then north past crash site to taree for newspaper photo and article. spruik not good and threats from security so i went up highway where construction congestion sent me again backwards to take coastal route to lake cathie. grey bird with black cap and white collar. chat with fisher bloke -- very local. huge paperbarks, banks overflowing. walk and talk two handwavers to council workers, one to man driving by. cool sunny. into portmacquarie for beer at irish pub, staff got stickers. long chat with ladies who loved it.
