My wife and I took our daughter Jemima to Byron Bay for a week of beautiful sunshine, great food, whale watching, surfing, scuba diving and R&R. To be honest 'we' didn't do any surfing or scuba diving - we really just lazed around, ate lots of great tucker and dreamed of going back here one day to live!

Jemima has trained to be a Veterinary Nurse and she would love to live in Byron. I think we to would like to move away from the colder winters in Melbourne and call Byron bay our winter home. I'm sure many of our friends would fly north from Melbourne for a winters holiday. Flights to and from are about $99 one way.

What else can you do in Byron Bay?...

- Surfing, Learn to Surf; a great beach, a great surf break... world class, crystal clear waters

- Scuba Diving; awesome Julian Rocks Marine Reserve; Grey Nurse sharks in Winter / Manta Rays in Summer - Awesome!

- Walking; Great Beaches, Walking Tracks, endless sunshine, Great views from all angles

- Kayaking; Dolphin trips, etc

- Para Sailing, Hand Gliding, Hot Air Ballooning, the list goes on and on

- Great food; so much to choose from - great coffee, seafood, lots of vegetarian and vegan food!
