Rosemount Estate vineyard If you want old people to spit at you, and random hippies to clap you down the street, then hire a camper with Cheech and Chong emblazoned down the side. We had this jalopy for 10 days to go between Sydney and Brisbane and it was a constant pain in the backside. When you want appear inconspicious to try and camp illegaly somewhere, it doesn't really help when trying to sleep in the drugs bus!! People would even stop in their tracks to stare at the van all the way down the street!
We did have some fun though. When we got bored of trying to explain to pensioners that it was a rental and not ours, we ended up asking 70 year old ladies if they knew where we could score some weed!
It was a good ten days but glad to give it back at the end as it was slightly less salubrious than the camper in NZ!
Remember....winners dont do drugs! And never eat yellow snow!
