Day 27 - It was a wet and windy night so neither of us slept brilliantly and we were both awake early. We’d said that we’d get up at a reasonable time and go for a walk over Durras Mountain in the morning and then drive out somewhere else in the afternoon. Welcome, come in, take a seat and enjoy the view! We were lucky enough to be in a position to make one of our dreams come true and it's hard to believe that we can now say we've 'been there and done that! It was the sort of adventure that 'normal people' like us could only dream about, taking a year out of work and travelling around Australia in a caravan towed by a 4WD. Somehow though we managed to turn it into a reality and between April 28th 2009 and April 26th 2010 that's exactly what we did. Pretty but am I just a gull?
No - definitely not a gull!! We saw a lot of these on our travels in Aus but I'm struggling to positively identify it. I thought it was a stone curlew but now I'm not so sure....... Love Mum K
