The 26th Annual District 9810 Rotary Conference took place last weekend in Albury. This city, located about 4 hours away from Melbourne city, was like being in a different world. We visited Beechworth, a prominent gold mining town. We found a cemetery where several Southern Chinese people had been buried during their quest for gold mining. Many other Chinese people, however, preferred for their bodies to be sent back to China for burial.

Glenrowan: Famous for Australian Bushranger Ned Kelly. EVERYWHERE you turned, there was another Ned Kelly statue! This is presumably what Kelly looked like at the time of his capture.
