What A Lovely Pair

Hey all,

When I got home from work the other night, Caroline said have you seen the Blog, well I did look have a look at it this morning I said, obviously I have missed something.

Well there are some, dare I say awards, or acknowledgements for our efforts on our travel blog and the writers of Kangaroojack's travel blog have been granted Three (3).

They are awarded in Three levels 3,2,&1, one being the lowest.

We got a level 2 for being a Blog Poster, for over 500 Blogs.
level 1 for Kangaroojack being a commenter, for over 100 Comments and finally,
We got level 2 for Photography for over 1000, photo's.

So I don't think this is to bad and I just thought Iwould bring you this news.

Oh and sorry about the picture, its just a Random picture I plucked out of the Photo Library.

Congratulations!
Hi you two! Congratulations on your awards. You certainly deserve them. As faithful followers, it's always a highlight of our day when the next edition lands in our inbox! :) Will catch up with you both when we catch our breath. Been busy, busy, busy and away of late with table tennis stuff and life in general. Thanks too, for your recent email Caroline. Haven't been ignoring you for lack of response, just been flat chat. Promise to catch up soon. Sounds as though you had a great trip to Broome and, congratulations (once again :) for your elusive photo of the King Brown. 633km's
I guess in the grand scheme of things nowadays 633km's is not that far.... I will check out google maps...... my Mum and Dad (Caroline) are making the most of their retirement.... I get a message every now and again to say where they are and what they are up to.... they have done many exciting adventures in the past.... they should blog it really! Dropping In
Hi guys, thanks for your message. Sorry for not being able to pop in and see you when I swung by Perth, selfishly I wanted 5 hours sleep before catching the early flight to Broome the following morning.... I wondered if I was going to bump into Cliff at the airport.... I guess if I do that trip again.... which I will at some point.... then there is always the possibility of seeing you. Only problem is that the only direct flight for Canberra/Perth is evening..... it does not arrive in Perth until 10.20pm.... hope all is well with you both..... being grandparents now, I am sure you are kept busy.... take care and catch up soon. Adventures
Hi there......Blog, oh dear, we never have time to write a blog, just fall into bed and sleep solidly until early morning and then off on our way again. Yes, great adventures, being held up twice by men dressed in soldiers uniform in Cambodia, in Laos, travelling down river in a dugout in the dark for 5 hours with just a torch, stranded on sandbanks, trying to move great hulks of water buffalo so that we could get through, taking care not to rip fisherman 's fishing nets slung across the river, people bathing and performing the daily laundry etc. Discreetly watching smugglers crossing the border into Vietnam from Laos. (apparently this is a dangerous thing to do) and so on and so on. Just 21 years of travel and so much more to see and do yet! Happy travels to both of you......will catch up on skype soon. xxxx

Catching up
Not sure if you remember me! Have commented a few times. Admittedly not been on this site for a while, just catching up with your blog! :-). Good to see that you're still posting blogs. I've had a change of plan, Australia next year, uni in 2 years. So will be counting down the next year already lol. Hope all is well in Aus!

Hi Stacy, of course we remember you and always appreciate you comments. Sadly we are not posting blogs every day as that W word is taking presedence in our lives right now...... :-(( We are still having an adventure though!
