The article is about the latest response to the worst disaster in the history of the global garment industry in Bangladesh. The disaster killed more than 1,100 people and caused global attention on the industry's hazardous conditions. I believe that human rights were protected in this article. The government in Bangladesh has increased the pay and granted union rights for the workers in the garment factory. The government has also begun a series of factory inspections and has ordered about 22 closed temporarily for violating safety and working standards. I agree with what the government is doing to help make the working conditions safer. Although, it shouldn't have taken the deaths of so many people for the government to start noticing the hazardous conditions.
