Oh My Goodness. Canada was so much fun. When I got there on Tuesday night, due to my delay, I met up with Colin and Brad ( 2 kids from Colorado State) randomly at the airport. We took the bus to our places to sleep and all crashed immediately. The hostel I stayed at was the Heritage Hostel. I ended up in a room with 3 boys. All the rooms were coed. A girl I met was having a room with 3 girls and 1 boy. Why they didn’t just switch us was beyond me. However, I had a double bed while everyone else had a twin, so I didn’t really care.

When I woke up on Wednesday I went down to the Warf. I hoped to boat but it wasn’t there. However, I decided to walk the piers. I had a basket of fish and chips for lunch then I went of gambling, since it’s legal in Canada. It was so much fun. I was up for a long time, then hoped to get more but lost the majority of it. I came out with $15. Not terrible, except I came in with 40. After that I met up with Colin and Brad. We grabbed a beer and just chilled for the night. I went to the store and ran a few errands.

When I woke up on Thursday I decided to see some of the things Colin and Brad did. I saw the Military in Halifax. A walk through a brewery and then had some alone time. I bought so ice-cream on the pier. My new goals for each port eat their ice-cream! After that I met up with Brad and Colin again. We ate at Maxwell Plum and got the special. 2 hamburgers and a beer for 8 dollars. It was REDICULOUS! We stayed there for a while and then met up with some kids from USD. That was fun.

We then all went cheers. A bar/club. It was crazy. Drank some shots and beers for the last goodbye/ first hurrah! Many people at the bar were all semester at sea kids so I got mingle and meet some people. It was fun. But by the end of the night I was way tired and ready for bed especially knowing I was leaving the next morning.
