Today is the day! After spending a wonderful month in Denver with family and friends, and after spending a month of warm, fun hospitality at Pat and Sandy's house, the day has come for us to set off on the rest of our "around the world" trip. Today takes us via Salt Lake City to San Francisco, where we will spend the night, and get to have breakfast with our good friends Tor and Michele Hanssen.
When we leave San Francisco tomorrow afternoon, our next destination will be Auckland, New Zealand, but will involve a 10-hour flight to Seoul, Korea and then a 12-hour flight from Seoul to Auckland. I can't imagine how we will feel when we land there. The time difference is only 3 hours from SF, but we will have lost an entire day. We leave SF on the 16th and arrive in Auckland on Saturday the 18th - where does the 17th go?
My next entry will no doubt be from New Zealand, when we recover!
