Planning USA 2009

The beginnings of what we hope will be the trip of a lifetime. Extensive planning is well underway and excitement levels are already on the rise but much remains to be done to finalise the itinerary. It's currently looking like
New York City - 4 nights
Chicago - 2 nights
Route 66 inc. Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon - 12 nights
and
LA - 4 nights.
So the next few months are about budgeting, choosing hotels, selecting activities and researching good bars and restaurants (v. imp. for us Irish). We've already agreed on the helicopter ride over Manhatten, a broadway show and a baseball game..... just wish we could go tomorrow!!!
