Finally escaped the hell that is Chicago. Driving down Highway 55, 73 miles per hour, southbound, mile marker 222.

Familiar farm houses and knee high corn line either side of the highway and compels us both to question why either of us dared to move to a major city! Day is fading into night, nearly a full moon in the southeastern sky, Mississippi All Stars are keeping Em awake as she drives. Headed to St. Genevieve to visit with Ed, Holly and the girls and collect seeds at the Park. It's good to have friends in high places; Ed is blocking off a camp spot for us and letting us in the Park late! Sweet.
