Day 6,7 & 8 - Drive from San Francisco to Seattle

Picked up the hire car and headed north out of San Francisco. We chose to drive the coast road and saw some great secenery of the pacific ocean along the way. We staed the night in Eureka - a small town on the coast approx. 280 miles north of San Francisco. Next day we drove from Eureka to Newport - another coastal town approx. 310 miles north of Eureka. We drove through some huge redwood forests which were amazing. Next day we drove from Newport to Seattle - approx. 300 miles. Most of this was on the freeway so not very scenic. Arrived in Seattle mid afternoon and wen for a walk around the city. Went to the farmers and fish market - more strawberries!! Met our friends from Brisbane who arrived that day for dinner and had an early night.
