I absolutely do think that the United States government should keep their promise it made to the Native Americans. I believe in this because it was not right for the United States to force the Native Americans to give back their land after signing a treaty. The Native Americans were given health, education, and general welfare for their land. The United States government have been neglecting these promises. Treaties and promises made long ago should be kept. If other countries found out about this, then we would have a bad reputation and be less trusted. These treaties can be affecting Native Americans' lives because they have less resources to use now since their land is being taken away. It is always best to stay committed to your promises.
