We are back at Sunshine RV Resort after a 9 day cruise. Actually I'd count it as a 7 day cruise as we left Fort Lauderdale about 5 pm and left the ship on the 9th day at 8 am. Sneaky, isn't it? Church, cemetery, and school where kids learn up to 8 languages.

Rock Climb

In order to view Aruba you had to climb thru rocks and boulders.

We climbed to the top for a panoramic view of Aruba. As we remembered the wind was very strong and you felt you needed to hang on.

Coconut Drink

To quench the thirst the gals bought a coconut and had it cut so we could have something cool to drink.

Cashew Tree

Cashews are expensive as they are the top piece of a fruit that makes many other products. The shell has a strong smell and isn't pleasant.

The fruit is used for several things and the nut is the top piece. Can you imagine how many fruits it will take for a can of cashew nuts?

Pretty Home

Homes are expensive. Don't know this ones cost but bet it is very high as it is nice.

Aruba's Lighthouse

Located on the SW shore and the only one on the island.

There were some beautiful sailboats on the island and these two were out enjoying the peace and quiet of this small inlet.

Two doves on an open heart

Done in 15 minutes with 2 chisels. He was good!

Children's Talent Show

The kids on board spent time learning songs and dances and then put a little demonstration on for parents and others. Two kids were pretty good - one sang and the other played a violin.
