This is the very first entry of Cody and Nickey's Most Excellent Adventure. Tuesday morning we left Fort Lauderdale and drove up north to Ocala, FL, and stayed the night with Nickey's grandparents. Wednesday morning we left Ocala and drove to Panama City Beach, where we followed the highway along the Gulf Coast, which was beautiful. We drove through Seaside, FL, where The Truman Show was filmed: an idyllic little beach community. We stopped in Destin for dinner (Sonic on the beach) at sunset. The beach was so gorgeous: sugar-fine sand, crystal clear water. We continued on to Pensacola where we spent the night.
