Destin

Michael before he lost his hat.

On the way home, we stopped in Destin. The boys enjoyed the go carts, and later we would go to the beach. Destin has beautiful, sugar-white sandy beaches. From here we drove on to spend a couple of nights in New Orleans.

In New Orleans, we took the boys to the aquarium, and then we all went to the French Market where we shopped (what else!). We spent the remainder of the evening in the French Quarter and on Bourbon Street. As usual, there were many street performers about. Most notable was a character dressed in all black with black wings. The boys and I got a kick out of Lisa, as she was very afraid of him and crossed to the other side of the street to avoid him.
