25 thousand miles

We arrived home last night. We did 25 thousand miles in 6 months. We have 10 states we have not been to. Will get there.
Hurricane Wilma was suppose to be a category 1 when it crossed Fl. Were the weathermen surprised. Our daughters, in Fort Lauderdale said it was pretty bad. They have no power at this time. Grocery stores are closed. We waited till 10 am to leave Ga. Wilma was going across while we were sneaking in from the North.

Upon Pete's retirement in 2005, decision was made to go South on the boat. We will take it one day at a time. One island at a time. See how far we get. Unfortunately it was late in the season, so we took of on the land boat instead for 6 months. In 2006, we made our 1st crossing across the Florida straights towards the unknown, new cultures, islands, countries, foods, vegetation, etc. We hope you enjoy reading our adventures and looking at our pictures.... full info
