Mammouth Hot Springs

Well this national park is really spectacular, the sight of the Grand Tetons is simply breathtaking. Staying in Mammouth Hot Springs we had a great base to explore all the major springs of this super volcano, it was quite something, ntilalthough this area stunk of all those natural gases! If you come here watch out for the Bisons, those animals are huge and I hear more dangerous than the bears! Bears, we were looking out for them but had no luck until our waiter in the lodge, this old cowboy guy who looked like he should have been either the local baddie in a western or the sheriff tipped us on a particular valley where all the bears are... he was only bloody right, five minutes down the road it was like jellystone NP, there were bears everywhere. We saw the black kind and a grizzly! What else, well, we spotted some owl chicks which had the attention of what seemed to be the top wildlife photographers on the planet.
