“There will always be a morning after…” Wow, the storms were awful last night. Tornado watches and warnings for our county and every one surrounding. A lightning strike actually blew our GFI outlet. We listened to a Christian rock station for the rest of the night. Benji was not happy. We also found out that our roof leaks in the bathroom…hey, it could be worse.

Today we head to Devils Tower, Montana (just to say we’ve been there) and Yellowstone.

We took a hike around the Devils Tower. Very nice, not too grueling, lots of picture opportunities…but our batteries died in our camera. They’re charging right now.

Benji had to ‘butter’ our camper lock. Mandie’s comment “We’ll have buffalo licking our lock at Yellowstone”

Mailed Father’s day cards from DT also.

Just passed a guy towing the exact trailer as ours. Wish we would have met them.

Gillette, the best a man can get…

We see mountains! Or are those clouds…nope. Mountains!

What do you call buffalo butt? TaTonka-donk! Haha ha ha ha ha!

Benji still enjoys honking at cattle.

Benji’s Wetzel County is showing…he can drive the twisty roads without a problem.

Wow…mountains are really big. And we’re in the clouds!

Heavy Fog, lose 2 hours.

Mandie spotted the first moose! And she shot it! But was only able to carry back 100 lbs. (she’s been working out)

Met a couple traveling…where were they from? Pittsburgh…
Can’t we find someone from Alaska or something???

Grizzly bear country…ooooooooooohhh.

Chimney Rock…woo hoo! An actual Oregon Trail stop!

We are now entering Yellowstone.

It’s snowing…it’s 51 degrees and it’s snowing.
We did laundry at the little check in station. Met people from Colorado. There were kids there running around like mad. One lady put her money in our machine and we got extra time! Yay! The people with the kids forgot two loads of laundry in the machines when they thought they were done. Mandie laughed.
It’s now 31 degrees…and snowing.
