It felt so good to sleep in this morning especially since I finished off a bottle of wine last night. We got motivated around 10 am and headed to check our the activities at the Mountain Man Museum. We are fortunate enough to be here during the Green River Rendezvous Days. When we got there, we went to a tent that a local Native American historian was telling about the history of hunting, skinning, guns and tools back in the day that were used during the fur trapping days in the early 1800's. This guy kept it very interesting with his added humor.

After that, we walked up to the museum and had a buffalo burger and watermelon. The weather was gorgeous and you could see the snow-capped Tetons in the background. We checked out the museum then sat through another lecture from two local mountain men about animal trapping and fur trading.

We topped of the day with a cocktail at the local watering hole then headed back to the motel just before an errant cloud opened up on us.
