The Countdown

It's time to get organized. One week from today we begin one of the most exciting trips we will most likely ever take. We booked in with a caravan of other Winnebago owners on a 50 day trip to Alaska. Our meet up destination is Dawson Creek, British Columbia, on July 12th. So this week, all of our (maybe I should say "my") planning needs to start to fall into place. I have lists, & some of those lists have lists! The major necessities are covered .... the trip is booked, travel insurance, roadside assistance, passports, and Canadian proof of insurance cards for both the motorhome & the car we are towing. Today I put holds on the newspaper and the mail, and talked with our health insurance and medicine providers about out of country coverage while traveling through Canada. Tonight I will prioritize my "Tuesday lists" .... cause the grandkids are all coming to spend the afternoon with us. Everything gets put on a temporary hold when they are here!
