No biking todayWarm but cloudy. Later some drizzle.Travel day. Got up, ate breakfast at hostel. Packed for the flight. Had some spare time and walked around Riga one last time. Stopped at the Cathederal of St Gertrude - patron saint of travelers.Took bus 22 to airport at Riga. Flight is delayed, about 40 minutes. Will see what happens at the Helsinki airport.

Actually made our flight without problem. Helped with newer digital technology. The newer passports have computer chip in them. This expedited our passage through customs.

Flew Finnair home, not bad.

When we got to Chicago, we could not contact our hotel where our car was parked. Their phone kept hanging up on us. Ended up taking a taxi to the hotel, with a very pious Moslem gentleman. He lectured us on Islam, very interesting actually. It is Ramadan now.

Drove home to Wisconsin without a hitch. Hopefully the convertion to Central standard time will go smoothly.
