Preparations..

The road is calling, I can hear it beckoning me, only a few more loose ends to tie up and it will be time. Today I got the ac fixed in the car (in preparation of the 100+ degree weather of the mojave), also a tune up, oil change, tire rotation and all that good stuff.

Also decided on a rough itinerary. Still don't know the exact departure date but will be sat, sun, or mon.

Milwaukee - Minneapolis (to see the brother)
Minneapolis - Mt. Rushmore
Mt. Rushmore - Carhenge (look it up)
Carhenge - Yellowstone
Yellowstone - Southern Idaho (guess they are famous for their hot springs)
Southern Idaho - Reno
Reno - LA
LA - Vegas
After Vegas the Grand Canyon seems to be the next choice.... Ill play it by ear after that.

I encourage your comments, someone out there must know of an awesome place that I'm skipping
