Our next destination was located northeast of Green Bay. The first morning we worked out at Planet Fitness and then took the tour of historic Lambeau Field. The Classic Tour included the upper suites, a walk down the player’s tunnel (with piped in crowd noise) and a walk onto the field level tarmac. Fortunately, the field wasn’t frozen tundra that day! Layover in Copenhagen, Denmark and arrive in Paris @ 5:30 PM on November 21st.We are staying at the Hôtel Kleber Champs-Élysées Tour-Eiffel, which is located at 7 rue de Belloy. It's only a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe. GO PACK GO!!! Well it's been a long time since I had anything travel related to blog, but Rene and I are on another exciting long dreamed about trip so this is the best way for us to preserve our memories and because many of you were very encouraging about reading my last travel blogs, I thought this would be a perfect forum to share and remember. Jumped on a plane to Green Bay, Wisconsin to watch the Packers play at Lambeau Field. Of course there was a departure delay so I missed the connection and had to make 3 stops instead of one. My football buddy from high school and Cerritos college, Dan Hall, has a son Korey, who plays fullback for the Packers. Dan and his buddy Jeff picked me up at the airport and we headed out to Korey"s house. Next day went to Lambeau with Korey and had a personal tour of the facilities. Went to the hall of fame, locker room, training facility, weight room, and through the players tunnel on to the field. Well, Friday caught me drinking pivo, which means beer in Croatian (an important word to know,) along with 2 others in our traveling group. The conversation turned to packing and how to do it "light". Margaret has an advantage as she is a sailer and has this down to a science. Peg and I on the other hand, typically bring a large suitcase and a carryon bag whenever we leave the state and find we don't touch half of it. I decided I needed a distraction from my hangover Saturday (too many pivos!) grabbed my pack and started filling it. Everything fits! Some room left over!
