Well, we went to IKEA yesterday (Saturday). Beforehand, we got my tire fixed. There was a nail in it, and they were unable to repair it. He said it looked shredded inside because we had to drive on it. But at least the rim wasn't damaged. The warranty on the tire was good for 12,000 miles or 12 months. I bought them on 12/29/06. And the mileage on my car was just over 12,000 miles!!!! So, it actually happened just before it hit 12,000 miles, and it happened on 12/27/07. So....the guy at the place was very nice and still honored the warranty. So, I got a new tire for free. I just had to pay for the new warranty and tire disposal.

At IKEA, we bought a dining room table and chairs. We had to put it all together, and we did it!!! Go girl power!!!! One of the chairs has a gouge in it, so we have to take it back. But it will be really cute once it's all set up. Now, I just have to get my other furniture 😞

But, I have everything I need in the short term. The air bed was perfect...that is until we put it too close to the crazy hot heat register that comes out of the wall...needless to say, we were moving the table into place when we heard a sound SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS....oops there is a hole in the mattress!!!!!!! We patched it with the stuff that came with it. But...we woke up this morning touching the floor 😞

We also made it into downtown Seattle to check out Pike's Place Market. And got to go to the Bavarian Meat Shop down there. The ladies in there speak german, and were excited that we could too. So, we bought some lunch meat, potato salad, and a few bratwursts. We had a great dinner with the wurst, potato salad, and some green salad...and a beer!!! Yummy...

Then we wanted to open a wine bottle. We bought a crazy stupid corkscrew that doesn't work very well. We couldn't get the cork out. It's some kind of plastic, and won't come out. I wish I had MY corkscrew, because that would work. So, we were wineless last night. We even took a walk to see if any stores were open...but it was 11:30pm, so everything was closed. Oh well...we did some shots instead 😊
