First stop of Passport event -- me, Andy & Nicole enjoy a sampling @ Baer.
What a way to spend a birthday ~ on a local wine tour! Figured the Woodinville Passport event would get us into the right mode for traveling... taste a little wine, have some cheese & bread... and somewhere in the midst of one of our stops the conversation lead to a geography question:

"Aren't we staying fairly close to France, or Belgium, or Luxembourg?" (Can you hear the wheels of thought squeaking?)

Next thing you know, back @ Nicole & Andy's place while readying for the B-day celebration, out came the laptop to check out Michelin.com website. How easy it is to plot out driving directions to Luxembourg City and Metz,FR! Looks like a great 8 to 10 hour car trip - stay tuned to see what happens... Remember, it's all about options, baby!

Now all we need is to find a lovely vineyard to tour somewhere amongst the Rhine ;-)
I included some pix of us @ the 'Passport' event & birthday celebration with the girls... Thanks, Nicole, for hosting such a memorable day!
