As we headed out today we realized as we were riding the coast it was slowing up down quite a bit, so we decided to work our way over to 5 to start pounding out some miles to get home on time. We are getting a bit tired and worn out but still able to do a 14 hour day in the saddle today. We had hoped to make it all the way home but decided to stop in Portland before one of us collapsed out of the saddle. Jack.

I am a biker (at least when on vacation) and I ride and ride and ride. This blog will be to document my vacation for 2008, 27 days of riding from the Pacific Northwest down to the lower midwest, out to the coast in SoCal and back to the PNW around 6,000+ miles of riding.
