This is the neighborhood where Seattle was founded. Built on elevated streets, we had an amusing underground city tour that took us deep into the depths of history and the city itself.

Technically the city today is the 2nd level of all buildings. The first is underground which used to be where everyone would enter the buildings.

Pigs on Parade 2007 is a fundraiser for the Pike's Place Market and their 100th anniversary. Each of the 100 pigs around the city are decorated differently and donated by each company.
