Final Pre-PCT entry

As I am leaving from Cascade Locks this Thursday, this will serve as my final pre-trip entry. Have been 'training' the last two weeks, and have logged 40 miles the last four days. Turns out I've dropped six pounds in the interim, which is nice, and definitely a harbringer of things to come. This doesn't take in the occasional day off (Zero day)-kind of thinking a day off every two to three weeks. Will most definitely be playing that by ear, what with the intangibles such as weather, condition of feet, legs, etc, etc. I am bringing along my ipad with 3G. Estimates with regard to coverage vary, some say 70%!o(MISSING)f the trail has coverage, seems a bit optimistic.
