Well, we made it across to Port Angeles without a hitch. Customs was a breeze. We then headed south towards Olympia, Washington. We found a hotel for the night.
On Wednesday morning, we headed for Mount Rainier National Park. It was not a clear day, so we couldn't get any pics of the entire mountain. The top was covered in clouds. After visiting the information center, we headed for Mount St. Helens. That was a longer drive than we had figured. Its a good thing we decided to stop for gas as we never would have made it. We thought it was about 25 miles to the visitor center but it turned out to be 58 miles. We got there just an hour before it closed.
Tomorrow, we are going to blitz down I-5 thru Oregon and into good old California. Then, we are going to take a tour of Shasta Dam and then thru Lassen National Park and on home.
