Snow at home
Hi April and Brian - We hope school and work is going good for you two. We are enjoying being here despite the heat and humidity. We are heading for the beaches tomorrow. We are trying to get some good local coffee beans before leaving Thailand. We will try to get some in Laos as well. We hear they have exceptional coffee that mostly goes to France and other European countries. Love to all, Jim and Ann

Snow at home
Hey Ned - Bangkok is still a 4.0 liberty port. Hope you can get here before it's too late. Still remember the ship coming up the Chao Praya River in 1966 and the great liberty we had at that time. The only thing that has changed is time. Thanks for the comment, Jim

You lucky guys!
Howdy Jim and Ann, Our good shipmate, "Surfer" Ned just gave me the link to your blog. All I can say is you're having too much fun. Stop it because I'm jealous, ha ha. Since I got out of the Navy, the furthest west I've been is Hawaii. Man, I wish that I could take one last WestPac cruise. Those were the good old days, right Jim? Enjoy the rest of the cruise, you two. Be sure to take lots of photos. I'll be more than happy to post them on my Navy website after you get back.
