Here we were relieved of some prohibited import items by officers at customs. We forgot that citrus fruits are not allowed so they took our oranges and also they took our treasured supply of beef jerky. Otherwise the border crossing was uneventful.

Callie Wilcox and daughters Natalie, Tia, and Cammie live next door to Cora and they presently are caring for Melvin in their home. Callie's husband, Blair, (son of Melvin and Cora) passed away to a massive heart attack about 5 years ago.
