Let me re-cap:
Days travelled: 15 days (from Saturday July 25th to August 8th, 2009)
Favorite state: New Mexico
Favorite town: Hood River, Oregon for Antje; Fort Collins for Regina
Favorite city: Charleston, South Carolina for Antje; Regina: I don't know .... City, Town, Village=Las Vegas, NM
Miles driven: 4,435 miles total (= 7137.44 km)
Number of states crossed: 13 states (South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington)
Best accomodation: Eagle Ridge Range, Idaho (even with 2 dead mouses in our bedroom)
Best food: That's difficult. Very tasty were the ribs in Memphis, the paella in Hood River....
Worst food: KFC in Memphis, TN!!!
Coolest bar: Robert's in Memphis, TN
Most interesting people we met: The three cyclists from Ohio and Indiana, which we met in the middle of Wyoming for Antje; Regina?
Most boring state to drive thru: Wyoming ..... no I (Regina) disagree, Idaho and Oregon (2/3) were more boring or rather not that beautiful
How often we got gas: 13 times (almost once in each state, twice in Wyoming and twice in Oregon)
How much we spent on gas:

Days without sunshine: 3 (all in the Pacific Northwest)
State we stayed in the longest: Oregon: 3 nights (Hood River, Cannon Beach, Portland)
State we stayed in the shortest: Montana (about 30 minutes)
