Fall in the Southwest Virginia Mountains

Well...the winds hit last night! The palapa was a sorry sight this morning! I had cleared out all the chairs, table etc., several days ago; but hadn't gotten around to getting the palapa itself taken down. Procrastination came back to bite us on the rear this time! A couple of the poles were actually ben; but, we may be able to salvage...we shall see.

Took a trip out to Floyd Co., last week...went along 58, through Carroll Co. and then up Rt. 8 and along the Parkway a bit. Took a few pics of foliage, but not enough. We head to Little Washington, NC this weekend, so I'm hoping to have another shot as we head through NC and down to the Pamlico. Will post, if I get anything decent.
