One of the interesting things about internal adoption is you get emails from people and places you would have never thought would be emailing you. Like the one we got this morning from U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou, China. This was one of the emails we've been really looking forward to. To sum it up they have finished their part of processing our child's Article 5(s) and now it is off to the CCCWA (China Center for Children's Welfare and Adoption). The Article 5 typically takes about 2-3 days to be delivered to the CCCWA. Once the CCCWA receives this document, they will have all that they need to issue your family’s travel approval. The CCCWA typically takes about 2-4 weeks to issue a travel approval!!
