Although we are not due to arrive here until Saturday 6 September here we are already thinking about the weather. Being English l suppose it is part of out cultural preoccupation. Anyway, following media reports, we have been monitoring the current Hurricane season over the Americas. So what do we find - on our planned time of 16.00 EDT in Virginia - a probable collision with a woman called Hanna. And to think we are just leaving home after one of the wettest summers on record in the UK.
