The forecast today was for afternoon rain, and the potential for thunderstorms late tonight. Around 4:15 pm, the sky got real dark and it rained lightly for about 15 minutes. We arrived in the marina around 5:15. Of course, the wind started blowing up when we rounded the marker coming into Deltaville, but it dropped nicely as we were getting read to dock.
it is about 6:00 pm, now, and the sun is out, light breeze, and beautiful. We plan to stay in this marina again tomorrow because Wednesday calls for 30 knot gusts, and 4-5 foot seas on the Chesapeake Bay. I think we will just wait until Thursday to head up the Bay.
Happy hour time!
