Packing up and shipping out

Hey all -

We are tying up all our loose ends and getting ready to go. The dogs, plants, cars (with emergency breaks), parking spots, credit cards, passports, visas, backpacks, rentals, hotel rooms, salsa event plans, tango classes, visits with a friend, and camera bags are all in order. We even went to La Tasca the other night to practice our Spanish and get our taste buds prepared. (I should warn you that you may need to use www.wordreference.com to translate parts of the posts that I write.) We hope to have some adventures, and hope that you enjoy reading about them! Hopefully my camera makes it out alive this time so that I can post some photos.

Tons of thanks to my in-laws for taking care of Lily and Pedro. We know that they are in great hands. Shout out to Nisha, who is driving us to the airport on Saturday morning at the crack of dawn. She is a great friend and we owe her big time. Two more - thanks to our neighbor Mary for watering our plants and our neighbor Paul for letting Dan use his garage parking spot. We really appreciate the help!
