A sunny early start in Philli.
Weather very hot as we queued with our giude to get tickets to Constitution Hall.
Was worth waiting for as this is where the declaration of independance was made.
Then on to see the Liberty bell - its cracked you know.
Our time was all to soon over and it was back on the bus bound for Washington.
Washington was nothing how I expected and I did not believe that the pentegon was so close to the White house (only a couple of miles away.

In the evening we wnet out to dinner with the group followed by a tour of the city by night.

A quick nights sleep then back on the coach. First stop Arlington cemetery to watch the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier and then a few moments to pay our respects at the grave of president Kennedy,
More photo stops at the Lincoln memorial, White house etc then on to the Smithonian museum,
We have both touched moon rock.
I have placed my hand on the command module of Apollo 11.

Job done. Our group splits up now and half fly out with us to California.
