Wow, what a fun day! We got up and hiked out to the park's iconic rock formation, the "lighthouse", we were the first ones on the trail for the day, so we were able to enjoy the view and the peacefulness of being way up there. We also got to see a doe and buck white tail deer run right across the trail! That was exciting!
After lunch we did some geocaching until it got dark. The last cache we did put us on a very unused trail that followed a dry creek bed, it was only 1.5 mile round trip which was good because it gets dark quick in the base of the canyon! We saw some cool animal tracks, got to let Sadie run off leash and enjoyed the quietness, it was the best trail we've done in a few days!
Tomorrow will be our last full day here before we leave Wednesday morning to head back to the Houston area. Planning on spending thanksgiving day with our families and get some things done before we head out again on December 3rd.

I love how the waters weave through all the rock.
