Texas Trip Day 22 Wichita Falls, Palo Duro Canyon State Park

When we sadly left our family, we headed for Wichita Falls and on to Amarillo, starting our way back home! We are now heading North and West, after three weeks of heading South and East. The home stretch!

In Wichita Falls we stopped at Lucy Wichita Falls Park

And walked along the Wichita River

To check out the Falls

That the city is named for.

From there we went on to Palo Duro State Park

To look at all the interesting colors

And tromp around in the mountains

Which we seem to be doing a lot of on this trip!

I had no idea that dirt could come in all the colors we've seen on this trip.

And then we were treated to yet another

Glorious sunset

To wrap up our day.
