Merry Christmas!
7 1/2 month old Jonathan It is said, Home is where the heart is. In that case we have many homes because our hearts are full of love for those in Kenya, South Africa and here in the states...as well as other places where family and friends reside.
Jonathan, Johnny and I packed up in October to come to the states for the purpose of being a voice for the children of Kenya. We have been welcomed warmly and have had love and gifts lavished upon us. We are honored to be able to make others aware of how the children we work with are living, what their needs are and how they are growing and flourishing due in part to the financial support they are receiving from many who live in the "Land of Plenty"!
Here is a little Christmas prayer:
Twas the night before Christmas and I spent another hundred and twenty,
This is so common in the Land of Plenty.
Jingle bells, mistletoe and bright red holly
It’s a time when many are feeling quite jolly
There’s food on the tables and money to spend
Magazines and tv to keep up with the latest trend
Our eyes
sometimes get distracted from the truth
As we search for the greatest deals like a slueth
The bling, the fuss, drama and chatter
Blocks our ears and fills our heads with much clatter
Help us Lord Jesus to see the true light,
To live out your Word, to do what is right!
Help us Lord Jesus to rise above
To heed your call and show your love!
Help us Jesus to use every day
To point people to the Truth, the Light, the Way!
Fill us with passion, let our hearts yearn
For your Holy Fire, cause us to burn!
Guide our hands, our heart and our feet
With your Holy Spirit who is powerful and sweet!
For then the bells will be ringing
And we will hear the joy of children singing!
Thank you to all who have been part of International Treasure House Ministries projects this past year. You are changing the lives of many children who were born into difficult circumstances.
We are happy that those children get to experience the blessings of Christmas; First of all to hear the Gospel and second of all to get some
Lunch

This is a true story, and it is a wonderful story when children are fed and cared for. God Bless you and Johnny and Jonathan as you try to help many children. Love, Mom
