"We will now be arriving at the Big DFW" - And boy is it big... 5 terminals with a monorail going around... which was quite a good way to kill time cause it seems a bit old and rickitty so it was a little bit like a roller coaster.
Walking aimlessly around the airport we noticed that 1 food place was getting so many customers. We kept seeing people even sitting around the airport eating this "Popeyes Chicken". So we thought let try some. If you would like to try chicken that makes you think that KFC is a gourmet meal... then go to Popeyes.
DFW - Every international airport I have been to you can go to most stores and pay with any major currency... Not here... wouldn´t even accept GBP at the duty free stores. I found that a little bit arrogant but hey ... shit happens and you get that.
Another unusual thing was that even doing a transfer you have to go through the full customns check and pick up your bags, move them 20 meters to a conveyor belt where they then put it on the next flight for you???? Found the customs thing a good idea as it gives a double check to the terrorist thing, but why make you wait for your bag only to take it off 1 conveyor and move it 20 meters to another??? Off to Santiago we go. Watch movie then sleep... Mmmmmm
