Christmas activities and obligations are now complete. You'll either participate in the after Christmas sales madness or you won't. You're probably thinking of New Year's Eve/ Day in one way or another. Probable areas of thoughts could include: * you've taken the week between Christmas and New Year's as vacation from work and only have X number of days until you hit the grindstone again * you haven't taken any vacation from work but will only have to work X number of days until you have another day (or more) of a holiday * the New Year's Eve party(ies) * the New Year's Day family/ friends / food gatherings * the New Year's Day game(s) * when school reconvenes * bills / taxes * the next holiday from school or work will be........ Thanksgiving leftovers are finally gone and you've begun daily cooking for your family. Now it's time to prepare for the Christmas holiday. Time lines for the following began the day after Thanksgiving but are now beginning in earnest: * Address and mail the Christmas cards that were purchased from the half off, half off sale last January. * Search, but do not find, the gifts bought in July and August and hidden. They are probably in the same area with the gifts you haven't found in years. * Make list of everything to repurchase. * Call local florist to schedule delivery of arrangements to various family and friends. I have not spent much time at my house. I'm still on vacation. Will soon get serious about looking for work though. I wish y'all a very happy Thanksgiving. Please be safe in your travels.
