Day One

Nice easy day to Knoxville, about 430 miles. Have made a rather startling discovery...evidently the Suburau drivers have all purchased a Prius. Those little buggers zip in and out of traffic with no regard. Stopped here to have a fun trip down thru the Applachians to Asheville in the early morning and to avoid the high $$ motels as one gets closer to Gattlingburg. Awoke to rain..oh joy..twisties in the rain and fog. Well at least it will be cool even if we can't see the mountains. We don't have to be at the Biltmore till 7:30 tomorrow morning so today will be a real leisure day allowing for touristy things.
