Day 2 Gatlinburg

Day 2 started with a typical US breakfast of waffles with maple syrup and a coffee !!

We then checked out and headed back to the airport to pick up our hire car, the gangster Ford Fusion !

Rachael elected to drive first and once we eventually got out the manic city the traffic eased and after crossing over into North Carolina and then into Tennessee the drive turned very picturesque when we drive into the smokey mountains !

We see elks !!

Due to it being a public holiday weekend the traffic was very slow heading into Gatlinburg, but we did eventually arrive at our digs and got settled in.

A massive pizza and a couple of beers in the resort and we were Done for the day.

Tomorrow :- exploring Gatlinburg !
