5:30 am we take off for our 6 night vacation, Oupa, Grandma & Lorelei. Lorelei is the Navigator for Oupa, our Captain. Grandma is the official backseat driver. We stopped at the Rest Area near Ocala for "pad kos" which is Afrikaans for "road food". Chicken sandwiches and hard boiled eggs. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? The egg of course!

Back on the road, and Jax and Kitty have decided to sleep in.
