I'm back!

So I decided to give this thing another try! I'm going to post mostly about travel; big trips...small trips...and day trips...and the occasional other tid bit here and there!

Hopefully some of these posts will inform and inspire you guys on some great things to see and do both near and far!

This past weekend Josh, I, and another couple took a 40 mile, 3 day canoe trip down through Allegheny National Forest in PA. Josh discovered this sketchy little site ...... http://www.alleghenywildernessoutfitter.com/id2.html

and got us a last minute stay at their lodge for only $10 bucks per night! When they gave us directions to their lodge completely engulfed in forest....and told us they would just leave the door unlocked and the porch light on (our arrival wasn't until 2 am) ...I was a little apprehensive and worried....considering the possibility of them being serial killers....but alas....they were just really nice people.

We got hooked up with our canoes....some food and beer...and canoed 40 miles down the river sleeping on which ever island along the way looked good.
We really roughed it.....(besides our stop for pizza : (
Overall....really fun....and pretty damn cheap!
