For many years, I have dreamed of taking a road trip across the United States. There were many roadblocks not allowing me to follow my path but finally the day has arrived for my adventure. I will be embarking on a week long road trip from Mount Joy, Pennsylvania to San Jose, California--the place where I will be calling home after the end of this voyage. We will be traveling through 11 states, covering almost 3,000 miles, consuming unaccountable amounts of junk food and dozens of potty stops at McDonalds along the way. Since we plan to cover only 500 miles a day on average, we should be able to see some sites each day--we even planned a full day in Chicago.
