Trailheads: Krider Road: 1/4 mile east of US19
Bean's on route 322 from Meadville pass Park Avenue Plaza and left at Bean's auto
There are two other ones in the middle of the above two.
A short but excellent and well-maintained trail near Meadville Pennsylvania.
The short trail has 3 porta potties, numerous benches and 4 or 5 shelters.
From the Krider trailhead, it is mostly shaded.
As you get closer to Meadville it is wide open
A portion of the trail follows French Creek
Near Meadville there is a scenic covered bridge
At both ends, there is a short limestone trail that you can take, but you need mountain bike or wider tires.
If you take the extension near the Krider trailhead you can add a few more miles.
